About the work
I placed this panel, an echo of Mondrian's order, in the midst of the decay of stone and time. Not to provoke, but to connect. The straight lines and primary colors are my attempt to bring structure to a world that is slowly crumbling. But I knew: even the tightest composition will eventually crack.
The paint is peeling, the corners are fading - and that is exactly the point. For beauty lies not in perfection, but in its decay. The ivy that winds upward is not an intruder but a player. It reminds us that nature always returns, that even the most human endeavor is ultimately absorbed into the larger whole.
