About the work
"This work is an ode to fantasy and origami. I wanted to create a world where roots do not come from the earth, but from a tower of stone—as if nature itself is making a joke. The roots are folded like origami, just like the rabbit: a playful wink at how we can summon something alive with paper.
The rabbit is not sitting there gloomy, but curious. Perhaps it dreams of a leap upward, or it waits for the roots to come down by themselves. Everything is stylized, but nothing is serious.
The colors are cheerful and contrasting: orange, green, black—a palette that winks at childlike wonder. The work is meant to make you smile, to briefly escape logic and simply enjoy a world where roots grow from stone and rabbits are made of paper."
